Remember when SLIP was superseded by PPP? Remember searching for a
serial cable with "hardware flow control" so you could use the full
speed of your new 14.4K modem?

Xmission just took me on this stroll down memory lane when I changed my
password on their website. After I changed it, I was then given
instructions to change the password in my Internet connection software,
with these choices:

Windows 95
Macintosh with FreePPP
Macintosh with OT/PPP
Windows 3.x with PAP
Netscape Mail
IE Mail and Outlook Express
OS/2 PPP
OS/2 SLIP

Of course, now that I've pointed it out, they're going to change the
message, so change your password fast! You should be changing it every
few years anyhow.

Lee

...Did I say years? I mean I change mine every four months...

Thanks Lee. Sometimes we have some dusty crannies that miss our attention.
